Webisode 3 - The end
It was on a dark and rainy day. The river Thames could hardly be seen; it was covered by fog. We could not see what was around us but something had happened. The tower of London was closed and the beefeaters were whispering something to each other. The ravens had disappeared…..
Suddenly they heard the sound of a little girl singing, « the London Bridge is falling down ». She was nowhere to be seen but her voice drifted through the fog.All of a sudden a scream broke through the mist and the mad cackling of the ravens could be heard.
There was a flash of light and the figure of the little girl clad in a long white dress stood out against the fog. Her face was as white as her garment but she was astoundingly beautiful. Her long curly red hair fell down on her frail shoulders on which a raven suddenly landed. There was another flash of light, and the little girl gazed out of the White Tower with a sneaky grin.Above the White tower, the ravens were gathering in the sky to make up the shape of a skull. The beefeaters… looked up anxiously.
As she stared at the tower the little girl saw a man with a beard and a scar above his left eye.He walked towards the tower holding a rusty key. Slowly he began to turn the key in the lock. As the door opened there was a strange sound. Suddenly the door was flung open and the girl was able to see….a dark round shaped room. She was petrified and her eyes were wide open with fright

- “Margaret!... Anne!... Thomas!... Catherine!... Edward!…” She started to whisper. It was a secret room which sheltered old paintings which depicted portraits. All these dead and forlorn characters seemed to be looking at a painting whose character had slipped away.
“No! ... not John Brydges, please!…” She implored.
The man with a beard and a scar above his left eye showed Lady Jane her way back to the painting :
- “ Your majesty, go back where you belong please!”…..
“I can’t “ sobbed Lady Jane. It’s too late for me to go back home now. She turned the way she had come and ran from the room and back into the fog outside.
Suddenly she heard a terrifying sound which she had never heard before. A huge red object emerged from the mist. It was the number 11 bus to Victoria. Lady Jane was petrified. She had never seen a bus before and ran frantically into the road to escape from the metal monster. A car coming in the other direction swerved to avoid ner, but could not slow down fast enough. She hit the windscreen head on and was killed instantly.
That night there was a small article in the “London Standard” about an unknown girl who had been killed that day. Mysteriously, she could not be identified, but was wearing Medieval clothes and had long, curly red hair.
It seems that Lady Jane could never escape her destiny!
